Hail Marco! I think we should start the conversation with remembrance of your Abyss Records label and Europakreuz publication. Please confide their history and fate…

Abyss Records (lately Abyss Recordings Europa) was established around 1991 as a tape-label to support young bands, to bring them from the Abyss to the light. There were no special political or other aims in these times. Just a small tape-label and an ugly magazine. Abyss Records released the famous “New Aeon Symbols”-trilogy, which were very successful (for tape releases) with more than 300 sold copies each.

Later I started with Abyss Records as a professional mail-order and label… Around 1995 Europakreuz was already founded – I became more and more “unsatisfied” with the people I had to cooperate with. I hated nearly every single people of this “scene”. More and more my private intentions for an “Europe of the nations” and the “National Europe behind the European border” became part of my official work. Europakreuz became a political magazine… After that, nearly every business-partner refused to co-operate with me. A lot of contacts – private too – lost or crashed in a big explosion of hatred against me and my work. Just a few good people from these days are still on my side. I don't want to say the names, because some people got problems just because they were/are in contact with me. It was a just question of time that the mail-order incl. the label would be down… Since 1997 Europakreuz was 100% political venture, music was just a small part, a very small… My contacts became a real “network of nationalism” on every continent of the Earth.

Could you remember the most sympathetic and friendly nationalistic organizations in Eastern Europe?

There were a lot of sympathetic and friendly organizations and people. Unfortunately, a lot of contacts were lost for different reasons. I remember an organization called UNA/UNSO from Ukraine. The contact was difficult because just a few people were able to speak or write English. All the information and propaganda-files were written in Russian (or rather in Ukrainian – N.) and I never really understood the aims and the whole organization. I was also in contact with an organization of Russia, but I cannot remember the name. The best contacts in Eastern Europe were and are with Croatian comrades. It was never a big group or organization, but more “local heroes”, if you know what I mean… Most of all, its always were more the people than the whole organization, I was interested in.
To expand your question to whole Europe, I have to mention the very friendly people from the “Hellenic Front” from Hellas as the “guards of the East-line”.. There exist contacts to active nationalists in Spain, Croatia, Australia and New Zealand, USA, Argentina… etc. To expand these contacts became the reason that Europakreuz gone out-of-date.

Continue the theme, I am interesting in your opinion on separatist movements of Basques in Spain, Corsicans in France, Irelands in Great Britain. Comparing them with events around Kosovo - does not West acting like two-faced Janus?

There was a time, I was very interested in these actions of separatists. I was especially interested in the things which going on in Corsica. I have a comrade there, who is an activist - on which way ever. I always saw Corsica as an unite and not as a part from France. Their culture has more in common with the culture of Italy than France. But centuries of French pressure left deep traces. Their language is nearly dead, the same for the whole culture. I was always impressed by the way the separatists worked there. Unfortunately they were split in various groups through a bigger force, which is always and everywhere active! The so-called "terroristic" actions were always turned to the French occupier, never to Corsicans or tourists, because they have understand... Corsica became - unfortunately - a case of routine! Daily exploding bombs with small effects led France and the world become boring and uninterested. A fatal effect for separatists! Ireland is an independent country, the whole island! If Englishmen (or the internationalistic Brits) occupy for longer the northern part, it will not change my opinion! For myself, there exist nothings like a "Great Britain". I only know Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man, England and Ireland - five more or less unique countries, which all - with except for England as it seems – are able to exist alone! On a special way, you can compare "Great Britain" with "Yugoslavia", where England take the place of Serbia. It is not a question of religion, but of culture. Scotland, Wales and Isle of Man lost nearly their own culture, their languages and identities. Is it a coincident that the term "England" is often used for the whole "community"? I don't think so. The Land of Basques is a difficult thing. I think the separatists there just exist for longer just for the reason TO EXIST! Nobody is really interested in an independent "Land of Basques", which is now partly in France and partly in Spain. I also never really understand the extreme actions in the Spanish part. Especially in Spain every region with own identity has the possibility to stay in this identity! Catalonia for example: they have their own traditions, their own language, their own flag. I was often in the so-called "Land of Basques" and believe me, I cannot see the smallest chance for independence - Catalonia would have better chances, but they don't want it in fact!

It is nothing new, that the West has a double-morality! They have their own wars, which they cannot control and start a new in a foreign land for ideals, they cannot carry out in the own country! They proclaims an united Europe, but destroy nearly everything to create a new world order. It is easier to occupy and destroy smaller units than big constructions of countries. They mix races to eliminate national identities to create an one-world-citizen: brainless and able to pay for everything. But it isn't the West! The West is just a collection of puppets, which dance after the "music" of the "chosen one". Countries, which don't dance with the other are proclaimed as "rogue-countries", the Iraq for example. The "chosen ones" occupied already the whole "Christian world", but they have problems with the Arabian world, because there is the enemy directly behind the border.

Coming back to Europakreuz. It was obvious that activity of your magazine and label was slowing down past years. Your contact-address moved in USA even. Can you explain what happens?

Yes, the official contact-address moved to the US, but I still stay in Germany's capitol and surely will never move to the Jewnited States. As I mentioned, Abyss Records was disintegrated and Europakreuz took the work of Abyss as an label too. To have a foreign contact-address and let the publication become a foreign one was important to continue. In Germany we have strange laws. Our “democracy” let you become a criminal if you say your opinions loud. It is forbidden to discuss themes of the “twelve bad years” (1933-1945). Daily the Germans become suggested the eternal guilt for everything and the eternal guilt to pay for everything. It is nearly impossible for a free discussion. You become fast called fascist, nazi, eternal people from yesterday, foreigner-hater.. and so on.

But to have an address in the US is no big support in a work in Germany. Now it is more than a fact that Europakreuz is buried in peace and honour. But my political activities are still alive – on a different level…

And now - if it is not a secret – what you are occupied by?

Not a secret, but it may be better not to talk so much about details. I am still active – as an author too (for various publications in Germany, Spain, USA and Argentina), but something like Europakreuz is not existing now and I also think it will never exist again. But who knows the future… The freedom now is much bigger than as being the “owner” of EK or a similar publication. The influence just the name Europekreuz has, is bigger than I and all other thought…

After the years, can you emphasize the biggest Europakreuz achievement?

I am proud and happy to see Europakreuz as a kind of manager between various nationalists! A big achievement is – in my opinion – to inform nationalists outside of Germany about Germany and German nationalists. OK, it was not really the achievement of EK, but more of my own person. Through the good contacts I also was able to inform Germans about nationalistic movements in foreign countries. Not without success! The reader of EK liked especially the reports about foreign movements like the Iron Guard, the NSB from Netherlands, the HOS and Ustasha, the Estado Novo from Portugal, the Hellenic Front, the Russian National Unity, the National Action from Australia, the FNOP from Brasilia and so on. That always was a kind of “symbol” for Europakreuz, for that people liked it – and hated it.

I read that “your” Federal Deptartment for Defence of Constitution (damn, I do not know how this name sounds in German) counted about 51400 “right extremists” in BRD. Any comment?

I wish it would be true. Unfortunately, any drunken person who sing at night on the streets the “Horst-Wessel-Lied” or greet with a stretched out right arm become automatically a “right-wing-extremist” (a criminal subject, which can be jailed or have to pay some thousands of DM as penalty).
A realistic number may be ten percents of the above-mentioned number – and that already could be too much! The rest? Skinheads, hooligans, drunken persons… nothing more! I think it is a question of definition. For my definition of “right-wing extremists” the number is extreme too high, for the definition of our government it may be realistic! But what would happen, if the real number becomes public? How could they maintain the picture of the “ugly German” if everybody knows that it does not exist? How could they suggest the German people the “eternal guilt”? How could our government support for longer any country in the world with the money of the German people?

What is your own vision of modern Europe and it's future?

The vision of “my” Europe is an strong unit (not morphed!) which has the position Europe deserve! My Europe is free from Asian beliefs, free from American dictate and free from an unreal guilt. Europe is and remain the “first world”... The Nordic power is the leading power. I know that the non-Nordic Europeans agree to the leadership of the Nordic, because it doesn't mean slavery for the other Europeans. The people of Europe live there, where their roots are. No hatred and no envy. Every people have their own role in this play called life. Europe has the first and the last word. There is no need for Eurasian feelings, for American government and for oriental mind-control.

Idea of Eurasia is rather popular, especially here, where Europe meets Asia…

I don't like the idea of "Eurasia". Of course, physically it exist, but there exist too much various ideas, cultures and so on in Europe and Asia. I know, in this case Russia is in a strange situation, because it has the largest part physically in Asia. And to be honest, I don't know any solution for Russia in this case. Western-Russia is in fact part of the European culture. To expand the whole story to more and more physically soil on Asia will open the gates to "non-European" culture, which will run over the last rest of European culture! No problem for a kind of co-operation with Japan for example, but only as a relationship between Europe and Japan and not as an "Eurasia". I can see "Eurasia" just as a gate of hell!

What do you think about current situation in our region – ex-Soviet states like Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Baltic states?

We do not get so much information about Belarus, Ukraine or the Baltic states. „Our“ media give us just a small view in these countries, and I think there reasons exist. Especially about Belarus we get just information, which should show this country in a twilight. But it make it just more interesting. For that reason, I am not able to say something definitively. My sympathies are clear on the side of Eastern Europe (with a few exceptions...), because there exist still better chances for the future. It would be sad if Belarus - as an example - will go the same way as Croatia or Slovenia went! I hope, it will not be only a wish... My piece of advice for Belarus: be proud, don't forget or ignore your roots, don't sell your heart and soul to the damned commerce! About Russia: I have a bad feelings with Putin. I think, he is just this kind of marionette like „our“ Schroeder or Clinton! I think he will sell Russia piece for piece... He is - like the other both mentioned persons - this kind of „friendly looking guy“ with a terrible, real face! Maybe I am on a wrong way with this, and I really hope it, but hope isn't a helpful hand.

You called Clinton and Schroeder marionettes. Who are their masters on your mind? Do you believe any conspiracy theory?

I never call the name of the "puppet-masters", but don't we all know the name? In this coherence I don't know one single theory I could believe in whole. But every theory has reality inside, sometimes more, sometimes less. There are - for example - no real writings of real conspiracy! No supporter of a conspiracy-theory is so stupid to publish writings! But many writings are a good description of the conspiracy, but never collected or written by the real "puppet-masters". It isn't necessary to publish writings about the conspiracy, if the regular acting is information enough! You just have to analyze every information you can get and select the "good" from the "bad” information and your eyes will be opened! There exist enough plans to destroy the one or other and to bring the masses to "tranquility". Don't take the easy way - it will be the wrong.

Well, it seems the time to turn from politics to culture comes. What we should know about Egoaedes and his music? Some self-introduction, please…

On the recordings of Egoaedes you find loops, distorted sounds, samples of voices, machines and situations, classical elements and sometimes – as on the last release – it sounds like real music.
There exist various releases on tapes and CDs and every release has a special European meaning. To explain the works will explain the meaning and way of working of Egoaedes. One of the themes is relationship between Germans and other Europeans. The first both connections are the ones with Italy and Spain. Followed by connections with Norway, Croatia, Ukraine, Belarus, Hungary… A lot of tracks by Egoaedes have the situation of Croatia as the theme. That may because that Croatia had a hard time in the months/years when these track were created (1994-1996). As “Europa III” was released I decided to give all the following releases just names, to be free of “name-founding”. This CD is a collection of previously released tapes as Egoaedes. “Europa IV” was released under the title “Stahl und Sieg” (Steel and Victory) and is a kind of compilation, where I co-operate with different comrades on every track. So every track is an Egoaedes track too. There exist a license-release called “Europa V”, a double CD of the “III” and “IV” with bonus-tracks which was released in South America only. There exists a “fun”-project called Manly Resistance with my good old comrade Frank from South Africa. We recorded just for fun a tape called “Flames of Holocaust” just after hearing some noise-records and Frank decided: “That's so poor, we can do this too”... The funniest is, that people really liked it and the B-side of the tape we left blank and some people had the strong meaning to hear something on the blank side! An other project were Soldiers Of Blood And Iron – a co-operation with comrades from Croatia, Spain, California and Isle of Man. We gave performances in Zagreb and Prague with a lot of fun. In Zagreb the “band” and the audience were dressed in camouflage uniforms and all wore gas-masks and nobody really knew at the end who is who. In Prague some punks from the local antifascists tried to disturb the performance. Then the police came and chased away the punks and we all got the security of the police… The label in Argentina has released a very limited video-edition of the performance in Zagreb. Egoaedes performed a few times too – sometimes in a very personal frame, in Germany for example. Different performances had to have cancelled for strange reasons.

The next release “Und wenn die Welt voll Teufel wär” (And if the World is full of Devils) includes neo-classical songs only.
The current release is called “Propaganda Files”. The 5 main tracks are connected to an unit and represent on a good way – as I think – my intention for harmonic sounds and industrial and noisy experiments. This CD, it is a kind of Single - or Maxi-CD, include three bonus-tracks.

I wonder which kind of music you like personally…

Music has to include driving percussions, unique voices and/or classical and traditional sounds. If music has at least one of these, the possibility is big, that I will like it. To give you names: I like the works of KIRLIAN CAMERA and LAIBACH. From the younger, I like bands like BELBORN or VON THRONSTAHL. I like the "sacral"-sounding works of CONTROLLED BLEEDING or the popular songs of COCTEAU TWINS, the electronic sound of FRONT 242 or NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE, sometimes I only accept the classical sound of WAGNER, BEETHOVEN, BACH, GRIEG or ORFF. And last but not least, I like my musically roots, which lie in the pop-music of the 80ies (I call it "Euro-Pop"), that's the music I realized at first in my life, a lot of memories are linked with songs of this area.

What is your opinion on White-Power/Oi music movement?

I definitely don't like these musically styles for special reasons. One is that I hate the sound of electric guitars! This exclude styles like Oi, Punk, Metal and something like that out of my musically taste. I am not a friend of the whole culture around these styles, but I know that there also exist good guys in the "Oi"-scene at least.

What can you say about features, tendencies, perspectives of European, and especially German, modern music scene?

The power lies in the hands of the youth. There are good roots, but the bloom is far from aesthetic and culture. The perverted, non-European, commercialized rule the culture, or better, destroyed the culture and created something you can only call perversion. But there are exceptions – fortunately. But I cannot say something in details. You will be always disappointed – again and again.

Berlin is famous for Love Parades and Rave Parties, he-he. But had any really worthy music events happened there during last years?

Unfortunately: NO! It is a real horror, with an eye on culture, Berlin is a desert-land! Just degenerated pseudo-culture, call it dirt!

Before Egoaedes you had released a tape named “Satanic Culture/Industrial Ritual Terror”. What can you say about this period of your life?

"Ritual-Industrial-Terror-Unknown Spheres" was a kind of label for Abyss Records. In this area I was exploring my way of religion! I used the term "satanic" in a special way. For the reason, that I cannot accept any existing religion for me, I also don't believe in Satan. My "religion" knows only one God: me! My demons and angels are forces of my own, as every people have the same forces! But, nearly nobody is using his forces. I have read a lot of books about religion and was very deep into this matter. But later it was necessary to delete the term "satanic" out of my life. I don't wanted to be linked with these strange people, who just invert existing religions to create something perverted.

Further in past - what do you feel now as regard GDR? Can you compare yesterday and today life at different point of views – cultural, social, economical, political, etc?

Now, ten years after the death of GDR, I see it a little bit different than in the last years before the wall was falling. GDR-government took over a lot of principles of the Reich, just inverted it to "red". We had our youth-organizations, no unemployment, less crimes, social affiliation... But for what price? We wasn't Germans, but "GDR-citizen" and the all-time-present "big brother" Soviet Union! We hadn't all the commercial trash for which people sells its soul! What I really miss is the social feeling, which dies on the date, as the commerce overran the people. I don't want back the GDR, but I don't want the "FRG" too. I want something new - with proven structures! The Germans sold their souls (like Italians, Greeks and so on before and Croats, Czechs and so on after) for McDonalds, Coca-Cola and Twix. The price has to be paid day for day in eternity: unemployment, social descent, terror in the cities, mind-control, the "eternal German guilt", cultural degeneration, loss of identity and tradition, hate and greed... and so on!

But, forward to future, how do you see your personal fate and fate of your country? Also have you any plans in musical field?

There are two ways I can see for Germany. The first is a consciousness, back to traditions - connected with the creation of something new on European soil! A kind of "back to the future"... The second one is - as it seems popular way - to give up and lost everything, to become a brainless zombie who say "yes and Amen" to everything!

For myself I don't want to set something in fact for the future. What I mean is that I don't know what and where I want to be in the last hours of my life… In private, I start in the last third part of 2000 a new education connected with the learning of the Spanish language. After this I want to go to Spain for a time. There are no plans in private direction for more than 3 – 4 years. I think, that it isn't really interesting for other people...

In September I presented the new release of EGOAEDES. I had the plan to continue with a new project, but after all, I “returned” to the “proven” EGOAEDES. I already work for a new work, which may be release not before Spring 2001. There was a friendly guy who invited me to cooperate with him and to use his technique, which is better than the technique I ever had used before. I can't give so much details about it, because we also don't know exactly what will happen. We have collect the equipment already and thousands of ideas.

Then there is another release I work on parallel to the other. I will co-operate for this again with old comrades and friends from various corners of the Earth. Maybe I should introduce the comrades. There is Frank, who was born in South-Africa and lived there for the largest part of his life. He got a doctor-title (anthropology) in Australia and lost his citizenship.. Now he lives in the country of his family, England. From there - or better from the Isle of Man - will come the twins Marc and Andrew, which live now in London. There will be the Croat Miro and Franco, a comrade from Barcelona. Last but not least - as the female part - there is Marianne, a German-American. We will meet us - not all together, but after each other - in Berlin and Barcelona. The influences of the various people are different in scope, but everybody will have its part. Maybe I will meet more people, who will have an influence on the result, who knows?! „Our“ comradeship is large and exist since many years.

That seems to be all. Any special words for Belarussian readers?

Don't repeat the mistakes of other Europeans. Be what you are! Fight against americanism, communism and liberalism and against the robbery of your identity. Beware of the occupied mass-media! Select your perception!… Advises for everybody – not only in Belarus.
